CLOTHING and MEDICATION
We recommend 3 sets of khaki or neutral colored clothing, well worn hiking boots,warm jacket, hat or cap and light rain gear. During mid winter {May-July} we suggest you bring thermal underwear and gloves. Laundry is done daily,weather permitting. In the event that you are hunting or traveling in any other areas than the Cape or Free Sate Province we suggest that you take anti-malaria prophylactics. We strongly recommend you bring sunscreen lotion.
ARMS AND AMMUNITION
We recommend 7mm and bigger for plains game and a .375 and bigger for any of the Big 5.
A temporary import permit for rifles will be issued on arrival at no cost at Jhb International or Cape Town International which ever is your port of entry. This must be kept on you at all times and on departure you will be asked to produce this permit when your rifles get checked on to your flight.
HUNTING SEASON
Hunting is conducted through out the year but we recommend the months of March to October.During this time the weather is agreeable, with days mild to warm and early mornings and evenings cool to cold. Rainfall occurring during the hot summer months from November to February.
